Connect your WordPress website with Airtable

Thank you for checking out Sawfish Wordress Plugin for Airtable.
Here are the steps to quickly set up the connection between your WordPress website and Airtable databases.
This will let you both send and receive information between the two systems.
This means you can:
Show Records on your WordPress website from your Airtable databases and tables real-time (without the need for additonal platforms like Zapier and Make).

Create records in Airtable through a form in your WordPress site.

Create an integration item on Airtable Builder Hub
Enter the connection info on WordPress
Connect!

Create a connection on Airtable Builder Hub
This step will create the credentials you set up a secure connection between Airtable database and your WordPress website.
Log in to your Airtable instance, click on the icon on the top-right of the page (same menu where you have Account, Manage groups etc.) and select Builder hub.
From the Developers menu on the left, Click on oAuth integrations
Click on the Register new OAuth integration button
Enter a name from your app eg: Sawfish Website Connection
In the OAuth redirect URL field enter the link as it appears from the SWFSH Airtable Plugin page on your WordPress dashboard. You will need to have the plugin installed to view this menu.
Click Register integration
You will be directed to the Edit an integration page with the details you entered.
Scroll down to the select the Scopes or level of access you would like to set up.
Enter the connection details on your WordPress website
In the Edit an integration section scroll dwon to view the Client ID and Client secret (click Generate client secret to view).
Copy these values and enter them in the SWFSH Airtable plugin page on WordPress.
Connect WordPress and Airtable
From the SWFSH Airtable page on your WordPress Page Click Connect
You will be redirected to your Airtable Login page.
Authorize the connection
All Set!
You can now setup pages on your website using Airtable records, set up forms and more!
